We live in a world where 2.6 billion people do not have access to a place where they can defecate safely, so:
- their health is not compromised
- they are safe from sexual attack
- they can have privacy and dignity
Just short of one billion people do not have access to safe water to drink, they have to take theirs from muddy, infested streams or ponds and have to carry it long distances, often many times a day.
These most basic of human rights are denied to a vast swathe of our fellow humans who carry the ultimate badge of poverty, in world which can afford to take the steps necessary to end these outrages.
I work as a freelance speicialist in the field of hygiene & sanitation and water supply, with the aim of having some input to helping this to happen.
In this website, I set out the services I provide.
